SLOW COFFEE POP-UP

Since the inception of Slow Coffee Roasters, founders Alex and Sam have always wanted to be able to showcase, in their own way, the coffee they have been roasting.

The location of the pop-up is certainly a unique one. It’s actually in a house. Well not in one but out front of. The location was formally known as ‘Drawings espresso bar’ about 5-6 years ago now. It was owned and operated by local artist Grant Jack who has kindly offered up this amazing space to Slow Coffee to showcase it's coffee and brand!

What to expect at the pop-up

As you look in from Alpha St the pop-up seems very unassuming but as one walks through the front gates it open’s up into a sun-filled courtyard with the espresso machine perched in a ‘hole in the wall’ style set up. To the right is the indoor seating area displaying Grant’s artwork and some music playing in the background.

When the sun is out you’ll find a range of seating on the footpath and in the courtyard. Watch the traffic and people go by on a street that has plenty going on. Only a short walk from town, directly next to New World and the newly opened Cambridge distillery. It certainly is an area that is underrated in Cambridge town. We hope to change that.

Expect to find different coffee brewed each week on the brew bar. We want to showcase our range of origins and beans we offer for you all to try. We will also have batch brew available. Don’t know what that is? Think of a long black, but lighter and much more flavorsome. Feel free to ask the team more about it!

We have a focus on quality and how we brew the coffee. We have designed the recipes and the way we are making the coffee to express all the coffee has to offer. We are excited to show it off to you!

The team is looking forward to showcasing all that Slow Coffee has to offer.
